At Home with Tony & Dimitri

Dimitri and Jim’s nephew Tony live in San Francisco in the most gorgeous condominium anyone could imagine.  They were so gracious to share their home with Jim’s daughter Kris while she was in San Francisco to visit with all of us.  It enabled us to spend time enjoying the three of them so much that work was momentarily put out of our minds and family became foremost.  It felt like being on the perfect vacation and it was!

Tony and Dimitri have a dreamy kitchen.  I could spend hours in there whipping up something from “Cooks Illustrated” or “Southern Living” for dinner.  Being up on the third floor in their condominium which then becomes a three level loft-condominium gives me the feeling of being separate from the street and city.  And yet at the same time their home is situated in a totally convenient spot for getting around downtown.  You can actually walk to Pier 39 as Kris proved.  This makes city living seem very attractive here in San Francisco.

I want Tony and Dimitri to decorate our home.  Accessories, pictures, color schemes, and bathrooms.  Oh yes, and throw in the kitchen too.  Yep, I want it all.  Well, I can dream can’t I?  Anyway, if we ever win the lottery, I’m going to make them an offer they can’t refuse.  In the meantime, I can’t wait until we can go back and see them again.
