Susan and Brian

Meet Susan and Brian.  Sometimes you meet people and you connect like you have been long time friends or siblings in another life.  Maybe we were and just don't know it.

They were visiting Hearst Castle along with us on the same tour and we ran into them by the Neptune Pool where we chatted about retirement, our jobs and RV travel.  We ended up having lunch at the same time then watching the "Building The Dream" movie in the Hearst IMAX theater.  We traveled the same direction to view the elephant seals where we parted.  They were going north toward San Francisco and we headed south back to Morro Bay.

It was fun and I wish they were traveling along with us in some sort of wagon-train-like caravan.  I am certain we'd circle the RVs at night around a campfire and review the day's events along with the nuances of life while sitting out gazing at the stars.

If wishes could come true, I'd get to know them better.  That's the joy and sorrow of meeting and then leaving neat people along the way when you are on the road.
